Dreams DO come true!

It's NEVER too late to...

Last night I got a chance to watch one of my favorite TV Shows the X-Factor.  The contestants on the show always inspire me with their stories, especially the older age contestants. They’ve shown me that it’s never too late to pursue your dreams.  Some have expressed that it’s never too late start over… but one message that I get from this show is that it’s never too late to TRY!
So the show got me to reflecting back on when my husband and I opened our first business.  The business that we opened was a very reputable insurance company.  Brandon was given this opportunity to open up a well known Insurance company, which he had already been qualified for.  We took a BIG risk, but it was an exciting risk (shaking in our boots). We were so grateful and humbled to be running this business, which was something that we had always dreamed. Unfortunately, we were forced to close shortly after the economic down turn. So we had to make a sound decision to move on. After we closed the business, someone asked me if I felt like  we failed.  I responded, "not at all, because we weren’t afraid to TRY".
You see, in my eyes, a failure isn't someone who is scared to try, but someone who doesn't try. When my husband and I opened our insurance company, we had NOTHING, not one dime.  But I believe that the courage, and faith that we had to take an unknown step that we've never taken before, prepared us and made us stronger, and wiser to take even bigger steps.  So after having to shut our business down, we didn't walk around feeling sorry for ourselves, playing the blame game.  This was the perfect opportunity to TRY again!
So many great things have happened since closing our insurance company.  I decided to write my first book (WINning Confessions of a D.I.V.A.). I probably would have never found time to be creative and write a book, if it had not been for free time on my hands. Then, a year later I opened my weight loss company (DymeataB's Revolution HCG Diet),  which is evolving faster than I imagined.  My husband and I started our own self publishing company,(bBold Publishing). Today, Brandon is now a financial advisor who provides and specializes in retirement planning and healthcare solutions to employees; retirees; and major businesses, and is currently working on publishing his first cookbook in 2012. And NOW this year, we are launching a local talk show in Gary, Indiana.  (Inspired with DymeataB).
You see, your greatest victories can only be birthed out of your greatest disappointments; your greatest embarrassments, your greatest setbacks, and your greatest times of lack. Don't talk yourself out of trying, based on your lack of. Use that energy to be creative, and do something bigger. It doesn't matter how old you are, how many kids you have, your race, religion, or background.  Just go for it with all of the tears, fears, and pain. Just like those contestants on The XFactor, someone is waiting to hear YOUR story!
 Be Inspired!

Are you ready to Soar like an Eagle?

Today on my way to work, I began thinking about how the eagle lives..I began thinking about the pain I've gone through; my past mistakes, my setbacks, and my disappointments, and how they all have made me stronger for this current phase in my life.  So I decided to read about the eagle. I've realized, that I have been  called to SOAR!

Did you know that an Eagle has long life up to 70 years.  It has patience to survive
To live til 70 years, he has to pass through a hard decision. It’s talons works properly til 40 years. After 40 years, it’s talons becomes weak and can’t grab prey. It’s long and sharp beak also becomes bent. It’s thick feathers become stuck to chest due to heavy wings and can’t fly freely.

Then, the Eagle has left only two options: either die or pass through a painful process of the changes, which lasts 5 months.

When Eagle reaches near 40, it’s beak, talon, and feathers becomes weak.

For new life, the eagle makes one hard decision. Eagle flies on top of a mountain and sits on its nest. Then the Eagle strikes its beak against a rock and pull it out.  After that, it waits for new beak to grow. Then it starts plucking out it’s talons. New talons grow back. Then it plucks its old and thick feathers.

Now the painful process is completed, and now the Eagle has to wait 5 month to recover. After that, it can make its move to fly again in the sky, and continue to enjoy new birth. Now it can live 30 years more.

So continue to pursue your dreams. Continue to remain patient and survive through the storms, through the distractions, through the delays, and through the  pain of your past.

Let go of the OLD YOU...and enter into that new era of your future, so that you can be like that eagle and SOAR HIGH!

Be Inspired,

Let's Live a Productive Life!

Every single one of us at times allows procrastination, disorganization, and even lack of money to discourage us from becoming productive. These attributes keep us from being productive as well as becoming our BEST. We sit back in awe of all the things we’ve allowed to build up, and wonder how in the world they’ll get done, or how to do them most effectively. Fortunately for us, being a more productive person is not a hard thing to do at all.

Here just a few ways to help you live a productive life:

1. Decide what you want! What is it that you want to accomplish? What are your goals? Where do you want to be, and how long do you want it to take to accomplish them? Start with something small, like cleaning your closet, or rearranging your apartment, then work on something bigger like starting an home based business. Simply figure out what it is you want to achieve.

2. Write them down!  Generally, when it comes to productivity, most people are failing in these three areas: (a) They can’t see what needs to be done, (b) lost track of all the things that needs to get done, (c) they procrastinate and lack the endurance to get things done.
By writing your goals down, you help strengthen your commitment, and because you have a simple list you can easily work towards completion, there’s no reason to forget your plans and goals. Train yourself to review your list daily.

3. Fight Procrastination! We all know how easy it is to get distracted from our responsibilities, I know I have been a victim of procrastination. – Procrastination is a huge blow to productivity. Don’t put too much on your plate at once. Overworking yourself will definitely give you the urge to procrastinate that much stronger. Schedule times in your day meant for time off and things you enjoy.

4. Get to Work! This of course requires self-discipline and a good amount of willpower on your part. Make an effort to accomplish something each day, no matter how big or small. Getting in the habit of achieving things each and every day is the most effective way to accomplishing all of your goals and desires.

5. Motivate yourself! It’s good to post reminders of why you are doing what you’re doing. If you want a big promotion at work, then imagine yourself in that position. Don’t ever stop motivating yourself, trust me, it will keep your momentum high, when you feel like giving up.

6. Stay connected to your PURPOSE! Don’t ever lose focus of WHY you are doing what you’re doing.

Remember!! You can’t be effective at something trying to be effective at everything!
